Who Needs This Service
Anyone with a refractive error (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism) or presbyopia who prefers glasses over contact lenses or surgery. Many people who also wear contacts keep glasses as a backup and for wearing at home.
Eyeglasses remain the most common and simplest way to correct refractive errors. A glasses prescription from a comprehensive eye exam specifies the exact lens power needed for each eye.

Anyone with a refractive error (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism) or presbyopia who prefers glasses over contact lenses or surgery. Many people who also wear contacts keep glasses as a backup and for wearing at home.
During your eye exam — comprehensive exam, we determine your glasses prescription through refraction. Our opticians then help you: select frames that fit your face shape and lifestyle, choose the right lens material (lightweight, impact-resistant, thin), select lens coatings (anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, UV protection, blue light filtering), and decide on lens design (single vision, bifocal, progressive, office lenses).
We carry a carefully curated selection of frames from leading brands at a range of price points. Our certified opticians are expert fitters who ensure your glasses look great and feel comfortable. We stand behind our eyewear with a satisfaction guarantee.

A glasses prescription is included in your comprehensive eye exam benefit. Frames and lenses are covered through your vision plan's annual eyewear allowance, with in-network providers offering the best value. Premium lens upgrades — thinner materials, progressive designs, anti-reflective coatings — may have an additional out-of-pocket cost. Typically covered: • Refraction and prescription as part of comprehensive exam • Frames and lenses through annual vision allowance • Standard lens materials and basic coatings Often out-of-pocket: • Frames or lenses exceeding plan allowance • Premium progressives, high-index lenses, or specialty coatings • Second pair if not included in plan
Call before your visit and we will check your vision and medical benefits so there are no surprises.
Single vision lenses have one focal length for either distance or near. Progressive lenses (also called no-line bifocals) have a gradual transition from distance vision at the top to near vision at the bottom.
AR coatings significantly reduce glare from lights and screens, making your vision clearer and more comfortable — especially when driving at night. We recommend them on most prescriptions.
Most adults need a prescription update every 1‑2 years. Changes in vision may occur faster in children, teenagers, and adults in their 40s and 50s.
Yes. You can bring your prescription from any licensed eye doctor and our optical team can fill it for you.
Vision plans include an annual allowance toward frames and lenses — you pay the difference if you exceed the allowance, plus any copay. We review your benefits before you choose frames so there are no surprises at checkout.
