Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026 At Golden Triangle Eye Center, we value both your time and the time of our doctors and staff. To provide the best care for all patients, we ask that you follow our appointment policy.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify our office at least 24 business hours before your scheduled appointment. Providing advance notice allows us to offer that appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact our office at 662‑729‑8246 . Missed Appointments (No-Shows)

A missed appointment occurs when a patient does not arrive for a scheduled appointment and has not provided the required notice. Patients who repeatedly miss appointments or fail to provide adequate notice may be subject to:

• A missed appointment fee (where permitted by law and your insurance plan)
• A deposit requirement before scheduling future appointments
• Limitations on scheduling non-urgent appointments
• Possible dismissal from the practice after repeated missed appointments

Late Arrivals

Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule their appointment if there is not enough time to complete the examination without delaying other scheduled patients. We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals whenever possible.

Emergencies

We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations occur. If an emergency prevents you from keeping your appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible. We will work with you to reschedule your visit.

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, we may send appointment reminders by phone, text message, or email. However, receiving or not receiving a reminder does not change your responsibility to keep or cancel your appointment within the required notice period. Thank you for helping us provide timely, high-quality care to all of our patients.
